Hi, my name is Jocelyn and welcome to my blog!

I am a small town country girl from Canada. A mom of three. A chef by heart. I have a background in chemistry and worked in the pharmaceutical industry for a good part of my life. Through my healing journey my area of study and career path have merged towards spiritual and holistic practices. I am now a Reiki Practitioner, psychic medium, spiritual healer and educator. Continuously educating, developing and adding to my toolbox of abilities. I am an advocate for sexual abuse, childhood trauma and parental alienation. I am passionate about inner child healing and nurturing the inner child relationship. I am what they call in my community a “Wounded Healer”. It’s when a person uses their own life experiences and abilities to aid in the healing journey of others.

This is a safe place of white light protection, unconditional acceptance, love, openness and support.

Through Powerful Books I have shared parts of the story of my life that shaped and moulded me. Trauma affects us all differently. In how we internalize it, process it and store it creates adverse effects in our lives. My life is an example of how trauma can effect the growth and development of a child into adulthood. It is a story of trauma, mistakes and triumphs. How I came into awareness and how I overcame to find a healing pathway that transformed my life.

Awakening is a beautiful process. It's not until we get to the “good stuff” that we truly appreciate the journey but I promise you it's worth it. I often look back and think “Why did I not do this sooner?”. The reality is we have to be in a place of readiness. We have to be in a place where we identify we are the key component in breaking the cycle and making the change. Awakening is dark in the beginning; and lonely at times. In the middle it's messy. Then…then the magic happens. You start to grow, bloom and become like a magnet. Repelling what no longer serves you and attracting everything that promotes you.

Through my awakening my abilities began to develop and my purpose was presented to me. In that process I found Perry and my life went to print. Now I am giving back to the world.
